How to get there	If coming from the east and especially from Passo Campo Carlo Magno (1683m), then you start the climb in Dimaro (764m). Otherwise you come from the west and start in Édolo (699m) or if you come from Passo di Gávia (2621m), then you start from Ponte di Legno (1258m). If you come from the Foppa/Mortirolo (1952m) pass, you do not have to descend to Édolo and start at Ponte dei Pellegrini (891m). The road is good and wide, but it is also somewhat busy and has a boring ski resort at the top. It is an important pass road in the region.
Other comments	It is never really very steep but the pass could still be hard in hot weather as it is somewhat long. Water should not be a problem. [IT-TN-1883]
