Julierpass/Passo del Güglia

How to get there	It is a long climb from the north, starting in Tiefencastel (851m). It is not very steep anywhere. The climb from the south, starting in Silvaplana (1809m), is short but a little steeper.
Other comments	There are some good views on the south side and it is also quite nice around Bivio on the north side. I believe this pass has a bad reputation mostly because of the rather busy road and it is indeed the most used pass in this region together with the Malojapass. One could avoid the Julierpass and the Malojapass by using the ancient Septimerpass/Pass da Sett by following a perhaps cyclable road from Bivio to the pass and from there take a path down the south side of the Malojapass.
