How to get there	From the west the most direct (and southernly) climb starts where a road turns off the Bolzano-Brixen/Bressanone road up the Villnößtal/Val di Funes. This road is a bit steep up the valley and turn of it at Villnöß/Funes it only gets more narrow and steeper. There is a wooden bench at the pass and the pass itself is wooden, but otherwise there are much open and nice views. One could start up in Brixen/Bressanone (570m) and go via Palmschoss/Plancios (1697m), descend a little, and turn right for the pass.
Other comments	The pass itself is quite nice, but it would be natural to use it as only a step on the way to nearby Kofeljoch/Passo di Éores (1863m) and Würzjoch/Passo delle Erbe/Ju de Börz (2000m). (Photo taken only ca. 100m from the pass.)
